TODAY IN STUPID: Fox News Host Claims All Terrorists Are Muslims

Fox News co-host Eric Bolling falsely claimed this week that “every terrorist on American soil has been a Muslim,” in yet another example of how watching Fox News can make you less informed than watching no news at all.

Bolling dropped the ridiculous lie on Wednesday’s edition of “The Five,” while dismissing a lawsuit filed against the New York Police Department for spying on Muslim Americans. “How is it every terrorist on American soil has been a Muslim?” Bolling wondered.

Juan Williams — who was fired from NPR in 2010 for admitting on air that he racially profiles Muslims — immediately corrected Bolling.

“Wait a second,” Williams said. “You mean to say Oklahoma City was conducted by a Muslim?”

“In the last 15 years,” Bolling replied.

That earned an exasperated “Oh, come on,” from Williams.

Video of the exchange is below, via Media Matters; Bolling’s comments come at the 3:00 mark.

As The Raw Storypoints out, even Bolling’s qualified claim of “in the last 15 years” is wildly inaccurate:

The Federal Bureau of Investigation suspected Dr. Bruce Ivins of being behind the 2001 anthrax attacks. Jim David Adkisson was accused of killing two people and wounding seven others at a Tennessee church in 2008 because he wanted to kill liberals and Democrats. Anti-abortion activist Scott Roeder was convicted of the 2009 murder of Dr. George Tiller. White supremacist James W. von Brunn killed a security guard at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2010. And Andrew Joseph Stack flew a plane into a Texas office building in 2010, possibly targeting the Internal Revenue Service.

Killing Abortion Ban Repeal

With little more than six months until Election Day, Donald Trump is preparing for an “authoritarian” presidency, and a massive, multi-million dollar operation called Project 2025, organized by The Heritage Foundation and headed by a former top Trump White House official, is proposing what it would like to be his agenda. In its 920-page policy manual the word “abortion” appears nearly 200 times.
